Presley and Lucas’s wedding was a golden-hour dream. With chocolate brown and soft beige tones, their day blended coastal elegance with a relaxed boho vibe that fit the Outer Banks perfectly.
They exchanged vows on the beach just north of Jennette’s Pier, with the ocean behind them and a soft breeze setting the mood.
Guests headed to Pirates Cove Pavilion for cocktail hour, where we kicked things off with passed apps from the Red Sky Catering team. Mini beef Wellingtons, veggie spring rolls, and bacon-wrapped scallops set the tone for an evening full of flavor.
With 232 guests in attendance, it was one of those celebrations where timing and flow were key. We worked closely with the planners to keep everything running smoothly and made sure every guest enjoyed the experience, no matter where they were in the room.
Dinner featured our signature station-style service with fresh oysters, shrimp, beef sliders, and crab cakes making their rounds, plus prosciutto-wrapped chicken and a warm artichoke dip station. And because no one leaves hungry, we brought out our mashed potato bar as a late-night snack.
The space was brought to life by the dream team. Ashley and Whitney from Southern Hospitality kept everything moving, while I Do OBX created florals that added softness and texture throughout the day. Rentals from Amaranth + Artifact, Pretty Little Things, and Metro helped shape a relaxed yet refined setting.
Photography by Ryan & Rach and video by Swell captured every detail. DJ Hype kept the dance floor full, and the Swell 360 Booth brought some serious fun between courses and cake.
Hair and makeup artists from Pretty Please OBX, Taylor Marian & Co, and Makeup by Whitney Hardin made sure the wedding party looked flawless all day long. Island Limo provided smooth transportation between prep, ceremony, and party.
Presley and Lucas created a day that was personal, warm, and full of intention. We were proud to help feed the celebration from the first passed bite to the last dance.
