Celeste & John | May 15, 2024

Some weddings are big and bold. Others are quiet, simple, and deeply personal—and we love them all. Celeste & John’s elopement was the kind of day that reminded us just how powerful an intimate moment can be when it’s in tune with the elements, and full of heart.

On May 15th, they chose to say “I do” on a quiet, private stretch of beach—just the two of them and their best friend, who had the honor of officiating. The day had been wrapped in rain, but right before the ceremony, the skies opened up. The wind stayed with them, keeping the moment alive and sweeping through a sky that turned dramatic and unforgettable. Their ceremony was short, heartfelt, lots of laughs and full of emotion. No guests, no noise—just waves, wind, and each other.

But even the most romantic elopement deserves a little indulgence. Celeste & John wanted to include their favorite snack—charcuterie—as a moment of nourishment and celebration while Maria Kandalova Photography captured the moment.

We had the absolute joy of hand-delivering a gourmet charcuterie board straight to the beach for their post-ceremony celebration. It was filled with an artful selection of aged and creamy cheeses, rich cured meats, fresh fruit, olives, crackers, and touches of local flair. Paired with a bottle of chilled champagne and styled beautifully by OBX Picnic Co., the setup transformed the shoreline into a private, romantic celebrations with no distractions, only each other.

Celeste & John reminded us that love doesn’t need to be loud to be powerful. Whether you’re planning an elopement for two or a gathering for two hundred, we bring the same care, creativity, and flavor to your day—because every love story deserves excellence.
